Palletline wins big as the West Midlands Business Awards Date – 14/11/22 Read

Staff at Palletline are celebrating after the company was presented with the Large Business Award at the West Midlands Business Masters Awards.

The company’s dedication to its staff, its efforts to reduce environmental impact and its work to improve its industry-leading health and safety record all contributed to the award, open to companies across the region with 251 or more employees

The award was presented in a glittering ceremony at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel in Birmingham, attended by more than 230 business leaders from across the region.

“This is a fantastic achievement that everyone at Palletline should be proud of,” commented Graham Leitch, Group Managing Director at Palletline.

“Every member of our team has played their part.

“Our attention to detail helps us ensure that customer service remains the key priority among every member of our team.

“In turn, the job satisfaction brought about by delivering the best service to customers creates a more engaging and enjoyable working environment for each of our employees.

“In addition, Palletline and our wholly-owned subsidiaries have formed long-standing partnerships with local charities, community groups and forums, ensuring that relationships between the business and the communities in which we operate remain strong.”

The Large Business Award joins a number of significant wins in recent years for Palletline.

Last year the company was awarded a Gold Medal status from RoSPA, after winning nine consecutive Gold awards for health and safety at its Birmingham site.

The company went one stage further with a Commended Award within the Transport sector category.

HSEQ Manager, Ken Bell, was also commended for his dedication to health and safety with an Influencer Award from RoSPA, following on from his SHE award win in 2021.

Anna Cooper, assistant editor for the West Midlands at TheBusinessDesk.com said: “In a very tough year for West Midlands businesses, all our shortlisted and winning companies should be extremely proud.

“There is a plethora of talent across the region and it was great to celebrate with so many innovative companies.”
