Pallet-Track takes flight to support Midlands Air Ambulance Charity
Our pallet network has become one of the first Flight Patrons for a life-saving charity.
Pallet-Track has made a £4,000 donation to directly support the ongoing training, development, and operational costs of critical staff for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity paramedics.
Flight Patrons has been developed to provide companies with a tangible way to fulfil their environmental, social and governance (ESG) commitments.
It is the latest way Pallet-Track has shown its support to Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, which is also its chosen charity. The pallet network’s team has committed to raising £75,000 to fund a new critical care car over three years and recently raised a significant sum of money at its annual Shareholder Gala.
The black-tie event was held at Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, where a raffle generated over £25,000 thanks to generous donations from Pallet-Track’s shareholder members.
Pallet-Track, which was launched in 2004, has also had its significant contributions to the charity recognised by being named an honorary Midlands Air Ambulance Charity Flight Patron.

Jon Cottrell, senior partnership executive for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “We’re delighted to have Pallet-Track as one of our founding Flight Patrons. We would like to extend a big thank you to the team for their ongoing support of our lifesaving charity.
“Flight Patrons” is a unique opportunity for companies to directly support the vitally important ongoing advanced training, development, and operational costs of our critical care paramedics.
“Our aircrew operate in some of the most challenging environments. They are trained to provide enhanced medical care for those who need it most, bringing the hospital to the patient, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”
Stuart Godman, CEO of Pallet-Track, was among those at a recent launch event celebrating Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s new Flight Patron scheme.
He said: “We’re very proud to be among the first businesses to become Flight Patrons for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and named a patron.
“Supporting the charity is so important to us; it’s an amazing cause, carrying out lifesaving work helping those in need, when they need it the most.
“Many do not know that it relies on financial donations alone and receives no government funding for its daily operations.
“This is why we support the charity wherever possible, to help it continue carrying out vital missions to give patients the best chance of survival and recovery.”
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is responsible for funding and operating three air ambulances and a fleet of critical care cars across the largest air ambulance operating region in the UK.
It has had a strong presence in the area since launching in 1991, attending more than 78,000 missions. This vital service provides hospital-level care directly to the scene of an incident, giving patients the best possible chance of survival and recovery.
The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity has been supported by Pallet-Track since 2023.
