Many ex-forces personnel, who often use their experience with logistics in the services when they enter the private sector, are valued employees of Fortec.

So, the company extended their commitment to supporting veterans and those currently serving by re-signing the Covenant, which works to ensure current and ex-military personnel and their families are treated with fairness and respect.

Signing the Covenant signals that Fortec are a Forces Friendly Employer that provide a welcoming environment to applicants with a military background.

Fortec understands the importance of recognising the contribution that their ex-military personnel make to the company, acknowledging the transferable skills, qualities and other values they bring to the business. These employees can include Reservists, Veterans, Army Cadet Force Volunteers and even spouses or partners of those currently serving.

The Covenant was re-signed during March’s annual conference, where Pall-Ex and the four Pall-Ex Group owned operations also signed.

At the conference, Pall-Ex Group’s Armed Forced Covenant Champion, Kelvin Sidaway informed network members of the benefits that supporting military personnel will provide them, as well as encouraging them to also join the Armed Forces Covenant.

Fortec have also received the Bronze Employee Recognition Award, accredited by the Ministry of Defence, which has been received for their exceptional support to the armed forces community.
