Experienced ‘New To Network’ Members Join Palletforce To Drive Growth

EV Cargo’s Palletforce continues its recruitment drive with two very different haulage companies becoming the latest members of the award-winning express distribution network as it continues to add depth in strength and customer service.

Between them, the management of 2B&C Logistics and Frost Transport Solutions boast decades of experience in the UK logistics sector – yet both are entering pallet network operations for the first time to help power their long-term growth aspirations.

Banbury-based 2B&C Logistics started trading at the beginning of this month, with membership of Palletforce at the heart of managing director Toby Christman’s ambitious business plan.

“We’re a start-up company, but between us the management team of Lee French, Sarah Kingshott and Sarah Meads has vast experience of the transport and logistics industry,” explained Toby, who has spent nearly half of his 30 years in the haulage distribution sector with DHL.

“We approached Palletforce with the idea of adding that experience, as well as our connections within the sector, to the network, and providing coverage of an area of the country which has traditionally been challenging.

“Having worked with Palletforce before, I was in no doubt that they were the network for us. The Superhub offers a unique one-stop-shop option, while technology innovations such as Alliance has put Palletforce streets ahead of other networks.”

From their bespoke distribution centre, close to the M40, 2B&C offers a range of warehousing and transport solutions to local industry, ranging from food manufacturers to a Formula One racing team, and will cover OX postcodes around Oxford and Whitney.

Family-owned Frost Transport Solutions, established in 2015, is also joining a network for the first time, and will cover NG postcodes in and around Nottingham.

With a 16-strong fleet, based just off the A46 at Bingham, the company already works closely with existing network members – and according to managing director Chris Frost this is one of the main reasons for choosing Palletforce.

“Palletforce ticks all the boxes for us, in terms of the effectiveness of its operation and our own plans for growth,” said Chris.

“But from our own experience, the strength of the membership is second to none. They share the same values of customer care and service as we do, and we’re delighted to be a part of the UK’s leading network.”

Palletforce Network Development Director David Breeze said: “We’re delighted to welcome 2B&C and Frost Transport to the Palletforce family. They will not only strengthen our customer service in two important areas of the country, but between them will bring invaluable experience and expertise to the network.

“Palletforce is able to successfully recruit new to network transport companies as our superior onboarding support ensures seamless tech integration alongside IT, sales and marketing support.”
