Customer Experience And Sustainability Key Topics At Record-Breaking Palletforce MGM
EV Cargo’s Palletforce is celebrating a record attendance at its Members General Meeting where over 250 guests took part in the annual conference, which focused on delivering unrivalled customer experience through EV Cargo’s values of growth, innovation and sustainability.
The event celebrated achievements during 2023 and set out the award-winning express distribution network’s strategy to further enhance service excellence by providing an unbeatable customer experience.
In a range of focused presentations, members of Palletforce and EV Cargo’s senior team reinforced the continued commitment to quality, guided by the EV Cargo company values.
A relentless drive to recruit and retain the highest performing members covering every UK postcode combined with a range of support initiatives will help power the growth of both individual members and the network as a whole. These initiatives include commercial workshops, business briefings, regional ops meetings, IT sessions and sales and marketing support.
Palletforce continues to pioneer innovation and has launched Palletforce PRO, a mobile app delivering ePOD capability to improve efficiency and customer service. It also plans to extend its bespoke ‘Pallet Selfie’ live imaging technology to provide customers with unrivalled visibility of their freight throughout the delivery lifecycle.
By working collaboratively across the network, Palletforce also plans to drive both environmental and financial sustainability among its membership. Decarbonising the distribution chain continues to play a significant role and Palletforce recently became the first express network to launch EV Scope, an emissions reporting tool where members and customers can easily access scope 3 emissions data for individual consignments.
Fully electric delivery vehicles were also showcased at the event with exclusive offers available to help Palletforce members move towards zero emissions.
Mark Tapper, Palletforce Chief Operating Officer, said: “The record attendance, both in terms of members and depots represented, demonstrated the desire to take our excellent network forward by working collaboratively to achieve success together.
“Our focus on customer experience and service excellence will continue to strengthen and it was refreshing to hear many conversations around how we can all consolidate our efforts to drive growth, innovation and sustainability.
“In pursuit of our strategic targets, Palletforce and EV Cargo are now providing more support than ever to individual member businesses, covering commercial, IT, sales and marketing.”
